An L-shaped spine staircase turning through a quarter-landing in a converted Shoreditch warehouse apartment. The white powder-coated steel spine runs the full length of both flights, carrying solid ash treads with a pale natural grain that reflects light back into the space. No handrail interrupts the sightline across the open-plan floor, with the frameless glass balustrade providing the only vertical element. LED strips beneath each tread follow the full L-shape of the run, defining the staircase in warm light against the raw concrete walls of the original building.
